Albsuisse

Non-profit monthly magazine Albsuisse is based in Zürich, Switzerland, created by Kosovoalbanian diaspora, focusing on the integration of Kosovoalbanian and Albanian diaspora living in Switzerland. Albsuisse informs and reports on the education system in Switzerland and on issues regarding labour market, youth and health, relevant for Balkan immigrants. Albsuisse directly cooperates with various immigration institutions in Switzerland, is published in 25.000 copies each month and distributed directly to Albanian-speaking families and to various culture and sports associations across the country.

I contributed to Albsuisse during 2009 with column-like articles on what it was like to live in and experience Kosovo as a foreigner. Both articles are in German.

July 2009: The potential of Kosovo, everyday life in Prishtina. ”Verliebt in organisiertes Chaos” (“In love with organized chaos”), page 14.

November 2009: Kosovo’s part in Europe, experiencing the cracks, intercultural understanding as solution. ”Kosova hat meine Augen geöffnet” (“Kosovo opened my eyes”), page 12-13
