Published writing

I guess I’ve always had a thing for words. So I’ll publish some of them here.

My parents are both freelance technical translators. The structure of languages, the different meaning of words and when to use them as well as the power in being able to speak and write properly has always been the centre of attention during my childhood.

I clearly remember the day I discovered how fun it was to play with words. When I was 10 (this was back in 1998), no one in our little village in the middle of nowhere in northern Sweden had a computer, yet alone an Internet connection. Investing in decent computers and an Internet connection was crucial for my parents. If I remember correctly, one of them crashed and became slower after repair. Hardly a reliable working computer for a stressed freelancer but instead a gift from God for a 10-year old.

I remember sitting in my parents office and writing on that thing. I wrote short stories, I wrote long stories, I wrote a diary. It was one of the best gifts my parents had ever given me. I remember telling my parents: “I am going to become a writer or a journalist”. And they said: “Go ahead”. So this is where you will be able to find some of my words.
